Turn off the toilet’s water supply valve
Remove excess water from the bowl if needed
Pour a bucket of hot water into the bowl from waist height
Add dish soap to the bowl and wait a few minutes
Use a toilet brush to push and pull water through the drain
Use a wire coat hanger carefully to break up the clog
Use a wet/dry vacuum to suck out the blockage
Try a plastic bottle filled with water to create pressure
Use baking soda and vinegar, then flush after waiting
Repeat with hot water if the water level drops
Call a plumber if the clog does not clear
