Line a bowl or sink with aluminum foil
Add hot water
Add 1 tablespoon baking soda per cup of water
Add 1 teaspoon salt
Place silverware in the solution so it touches the foil
Let it sit for 2 to 5 minutes
Remove the silverware with tongs
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Dry immediately with a soft cloth
Buff with a microfiber cloth for extra shine
For stubborn tarnish, make a paste of baking soda and water
Rub gently with a soft cloth
Rinse and dry completely
Use a silver polish cloth for final touch-ups
Store silverware in a dry place after polishing
