Locate the “Learn,” “Program,” or “Smart” button on the garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the button
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote you want to program
Release the remote button when the opener light flashes or the door moves
Test the remote by pressing the button again
Repeat the process for additional remotes if needed
If the remote does not work, replace the battery and try again
If required, clear old remote codes from the opener before reprogramming
