Choose a healthy Hoya stem with at least 1–2 nodes
Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears
Cut just below a node
Remove leaves from the lower node or nodes
Place the cutting in water, moist sphagnum moss, or a well-draining propagation mix
Keep at least one node submerged or buried
Place the cutting in bright, indirect light
Keep the medium lightly moist, not soggy
Change water regularly if propagating in water
Wait for roots to develop
Pot up the cutting once roots are a few inches long
Use a pot with drainage and a chunky, airy Hoya soil mix
Water lightly after potting
Keep the new plant in warm conditions
Avoid direct sun until established
