Choose a healthy Chinese money plant with mature stems or offsets
Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears
Cut a healthy stem just below a node
Remove the lower leaves from the cutting
Place the cutting in water with the node submerged
Keep the cutting in bright, indirect light
Change the water every few days
Wait for roots to grow several centimeters long
Transfer the rooted cutting into a pot with well-draining soil
Water lightly after planting
Keep the soil slightly moist until the plant is established
Alternatively, separate and replant offsets from the base of the parent plant
Place separated offsets into their own pots with fresh soil
Keep newly propagated plants in warm conditions
Avoid direct sunlight during early growth
