Locate the aerator at the tip of the faucet
Check for a hidden aerator under a cap or inside the spout
Use your hand to twist the aerator counterclockwise
Use a rubber glove or cloth for extra grip if it is tight
Use pliers carefully if needed
Wrap the aerator with a cloth before using pliers to avoid damage
Remove the aerator and any washer or screen inside
Keep the parts together for reassembly
Clean or replace the aerator as needed
