Turn off the water supply to the shower
Unscrew the shower head from the shower arm
Check the washer, O-ring, and rubber gasket for wear or damage
Replace any worn or damaged parts
Clean mineral buildup from the shower head and shower arm threads
Wrap plumber’s tape around the shower arm threads
Reattach the shower head and tighten it securely
Turn the water back on and check for leaks
Replace the shower cartridge or valve if the dripping continues
Call a plumber if the leak does not stop
