Put on gloves
Place the drain snake into the toilet bowl
Feed the snake into the drain opening slowly
Turn the handle clockwise while pushing gently
Stop when you feel resistance
Keep turning and pushing to break up or hook the clog
Pull the snake back out slowly
Flush the toilet to check if the clog is cleared
Repeat if needed
Clean and disinfect the snake after use
