Check that the main water shutoff valve is fully open
Check that the water meter valve is fully open
Clean or replace clogged faucet aerators
Clean or replace clogged showerheads
Replace old or corroded pipes
Inspect for leaks and repair them
Test and replace a failing pressure-reducing valve
Install a water pressure booster pump
Install a pressure tank if using a well system
Adjust the well pump pressure switch if applicable
Flush the water heater to remove sediment
Replace undersized supply lines
Remove or replace partially closed valves
Contact the water utility if municipal pressure is low
Have a plumber test the system pressure
