Locate the water pressure reducing valve on the main water line
Check the current pressure with a pressure gauge on a hose bib or test port
Turn off water to the system if needed
Loosen the locknut or adjustment screw cap on the valve
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase pressure
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to decrease pressure
Make small adjustments, about one quarter turn at a time
Run water and recheck the pressure after each adjustment
Tighten the locknut or replace the screw cap when finished
Verify the pressure is within the desired range
Check for leaks around the valve after adjustment
