Go to your Facebook profile
Open your profile page
Click “About” (or “About” on the profile menu)
Find the section that contains the FB ID (e.g., “Contact and basic info” or a custom field)
Click “Edit” next to the field that shows the FB ID
Remove the FB ID value from the field
Save changes
If the FB ID appears in a section you can’t edit, remove it by editing the specific experience/work/school/contact entry where it appears
Check “Public profile and tagging” settings:
Go to Settings & Privacy
Open Settings
Find “Public profile and tagging”
Review and change visibility options that expose IDs or identifiers
If it appears in a post or comment:
Open the post/comment
Edit or delete it
If it appears in your bio/username/links:
Edit your “Bio” or link fields
Remove the FB ID from those fields
If it appears in search results:
Go to Settings & Privacy
Open Settings
Find “Privacy”
Adjust who can see your profile information and search visibility
If you mean the Facebook Page/Group “ID”:
Open the Page/Group
Go to Settings
Find “Page info” (or equivalent)
Remove or edit any identifiers shown in editable fields
If you mean a third-party site or embed showing your FB ID:
Update or remove the connected account/app entry on that site
Revoke access in Facebook:
Settings & Privacy
Settings
Apps and websites
Remove the app or revoke permissions
