How to Replace iPad Screen?

Power off the iPad

Remove the SIM tray if applicable

Heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive

Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly

Insert a thin opening tool into the gap

Work around the edges to separate the screen

Open the screen carefully without pulling it too far

Disconnect the battery first

Disconnect the display and digitizer cables

Remove the broken screen assembly

Transfer any necessary components to the new screen

Connect the display and digitizer cables to the new screen

Reconnect the battery

Test the new screen before sealing

Apply new adhesive strips or adhesive

Press the screen into place

Reinstall the SIM tray if applicable

Power on the iPad and confirm proper touch and display function
