Unplug the washer from the power outlet
Wait 1 to 5 minutes
Plug the washer back in
Open and close the lid or door 6 times within 12 seconds if your model requires it
Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 to 5 seconds
Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds if the washer has one
Turn the cycle selector to the reset or drain/spin position if available
Cancel the current cycle using the Cancel or Pause button
Drain any water from the tub if the washer is stuck
