Turn off or unplug appliances on the affected circuit
Open the electrical panel door
Locate the breaker that is in the tripped position
Move the breaker fully to the OFF position
Move the breaker firmly back to the ON position
Check whether power is restored
If it trips again, leave it OFF
Contact a licensed electrician if the breaker will not reset or keeps tripping
