Wash and fully dry your locs
Separate the locs into sections
Clip away the sections you are not working on
Apply a small amount of locking gel or twisting product to the root
Twist the new growth at the base of each loc in one direction
Palm roll the loc after twisting if needed
Secure the root with a clip if desired
Repeat for each loc in the section
Continue section by section until finished
Dry completely under a hooded dryer or air dry
Avoid heavy product buildup
Retwist as needed based on new growth and maintenance routine
