Sear the roast in a hot pan if desired
Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan
Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part
Roast until it reaches the target internal temperature
Remove the roast from the oven
Let it rest before slicing
Slice against the grain
Serve immediately
