Open Excel
Click the View tab
In the Show group, check Formula Bar
If the Formula Bar is hidden, enable it from the same View tab
On Windows, you can also go to File > Options > Advanced and ensure Show formula bar is selected
On Mac, go to Excel > Preferences > View and enable Formula Bar
