How To Sous Vide Steak?

Season steak with salt and pepper

Preheat sous vide water bath to desired temperature

Place steak in a vacuum-sealed or zip-top bag

Add herbs, garlic, or butter if desired

Remove as much air as possible from the bag

Submerge the bag in the water bath

Cook for 1 to 3 hours, depending on thickness

Remove steak from the bag

Pat steak completely dry

Sear steak in a very hot skillet or on a grill for 30 to 60 seconds per side

Rest briefly if needed

Slice and serve
