Open the PayPal app or website and sign in
Go to Activity
Find the payment you want to stop
If it is still pending, select it
Click Cancel
Confirm the cancellation if prompted
If the payment is completed, contact the recipient to request a refund
If the payment was sent by bank transfer or card and is pending, contact PayPal Support immediately
If the payment is an automatic payment or subscription, go to Settings
Open Payments
Select Automatic payments
Choose the merchant
Click Cancel or Cancel automatic payments
If the payment is a bank transfer that has already started, contact your bank right away
If you cannot cancel in PayPal, contact PayPal Support as soon as possible
