Turn on the TV and Roku device
Insert fresh batteries into the Roku remote
Place the remote near the Roku device
Press and hold the pairing button inside the battery compartment for 3 to 5 seconds
Wait for the pairing light to start flashing
Wait for the on-screen pairing message to appear
Follow any on-screen prompts to complete pairing
If using a Roku Voice Remote, go to Settings
Select Remotes & devices
Select Remotes
Select Add new remote
Follow the on-screen instructions
If the remote has TV controls, go to Settings
Select Remotes & devices
Select Remotes
Select Set up remote for TV control
Follow the prompts to detect your TV brand
Test the volume and power buttons
If the remote does not pair, restart the Roku device
Replace the batteries and try again
Move closer to the Roku device and repeat pairing
Use the Roku mobile app if the remote is not working
