Scrape off any excess wet paint with a dull knife or spoon
Rinse the stained area with warm water from the back of the fabric
Apply liquid laundry detergent or dish soap directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Rinse and repeat until the paint starts to lift
For dried paint, soak the area in warm water to soften it
Apply rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, or acetone-free nail polish remover to the stain
Blot with a clean cloth and repeat as needed
Wash the clothing in the warmest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat treatment if any paint remains
Air-dry the clothing until the stain is completely gone
