Gather athletic tape or kinesiology tape, scissors, and clean dry skin
Wash and dry the foot completely
Sit with the foot at a 90-degree angle
Anchor tape around the ball of the foot just behind the toes
Run the tape along the arch toward the heel with gentle tension
Add a second strip from the inside of the heel across the arch to the outside of the foot
Add a third strip from the outside of the heel across the arch to the inside of the foot
Keep the arch supported without wrapping too tightly
Smooth the tape to secure it
Check for numbness, tingling, color change, or increased pain
Remove and retape if circulation feels restricted
Replace tape if it loosens or gets wet
Stop taping and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen
