Connect your Android phone to your computer with a USB cable
Unlock your phone
On your phone, tap the USB notification
Select File Transfer or MTP mode
On your computer, open File Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac with Android file access tools
Open the phone storage
Go to the DCIM folder
Open the Camera folder or the folder containing your photos
Select the photos you want to transfer
Copy the photos
Paste them into a folder on your computer
Eject the phone safely
Disconnect the USB cable
Use Google Photos, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox to transfer photos wirelessly
Upload the photos from your Android device
Download the photos on your computer
Use Bluetooth for small transfers if both devices support it
Use an SD card if your photos are stored on one
Remove the SD card from the phone
Insert the SD card into your computer
Copy the photos from the card to your computer
Use a third-party transfer app if needed
