Open Settings
Select Device
Select Touchpad and touchscreen
Turn off Touchscreen (if available) or disable the Touchscreen toggle
If no touchscreen toggle exists: open ChromeOS Settings
Search for “touchscreen”
If a result appears, open it and disable Touchscreen
If you can’t find any option: use an accessibility setting
Open Settings
Select Accessibility
Select Manage accessibility features
Look for Touchscreen or Touch interaction and disable it (if present)
If still unavailable: disable touch via Chrome flags (only if offered)
Open Chrome
Enter `chrome://flags`
Search for “touchscreen”
Disable any touchscreen-related flag
Restart the Chromebook when prompted
