Turn on your Fire TV Stick and go to the home screen
Select Settings
Select My Fire TV
Select About
Select Check for Updates
If an update is available, select Install Update
Wait for the update to download and install
Do not unplug the Firestick during the update
Let the device restart if prompted
Return to About to confirm the software is up to date
