Fill the clean water tank with hot tap water
Add the recommended amount of Bissell cleaning formula
Secure the tank back onto the machine
Plug in the cleaner
Attach the desired cleaning tool or hose
Test a small hidden area first
Spray the cleaning solution onto the carpet or fabric
Scrub the area with the brush attachment
Hold the trigger to release solution as needed
Release the trigger and suction up the dirty water
Repeat spraying and suctioning until the area is clean
Empty the dirty water tank when it gets full
Rinse the dirty water tank after use
Rinse the clean water tank and tools
Let all parts dry completely before storing
