Check the medication and nebulizer parts
Assemble the nebulizer
Measure and pour the prescribed medicine into the cup
Attach the mouthpiece or mask
Connect the tubing to the compressor
Sit upright and turn on the machine
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth
Hold each breath for a few seconds if possible
Continue until the mist stops
Turn off the machine
Clean and dry the nebulizer parts after use
Follow your doctor’s instructions for dose and frequency
