Wash and dry your hands
Hold the eye patch with the clean side facing your eye
Place the patch gently over the affected eye
Center it so the eye is fully covered
Secure the strap or adhesive so it fits snugly
Make sure it is not too tight
Check that the patch does not press on the eye
Adjust for comfort and clear vision in the other eye
Follow any instructions from your doctor or eye care professional
Remove the patch carefully when needed
Clean or replace the patch as directed
