Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon or a gift tag if desired
Place the book face down on the wrapping paper
Cut the paper so it can cover the book with enough overlap on all sides
Center the book on the paper
Fold one long side of the paper over the book and tape it down
Fold the opposite long side tightly over the book and tape it in place
Fold the top and bottom paper edges inward to form neat triangles
Fold each end flap over the book and tape securely
Smooth the wrapped paper and press down any loose edges
Add ribbon or a gift tag if desired
