Hold the watch securely
Unscrew the crown if your Rolex has a screw-down crown
Turn the crown clockwise
Wind slowly and gently
Stop when you feel resistance
Do not force the crown
Push the crown back in
Screw the crown down tightly if applicable
Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound
Set the time if needed after winding
