Turn off the laptop
Press the Power button
Tap F2 repeatedly to enter BIOS
Open the Battery Information or Battery Health section
Check the battery status shown there
Open Dell SupportAssist in Windows
Go to Hardware Check or Battery Check
Run the battery diagnostics test
Open Command Prompt as administrator
Type `powercfg /batteryreport`
Press Enter
Open the generated battery report file
Check design capacity, full charge capacity, and battery wear
Open Dell Power Manager if installed
View the battery health status in the app
Check the Windows battery icon for basic battery status
Look for warnings such as poor, fair, or excellent battery health
