Follow the product instructions exactly
Comb out lice and nits with a fine-toothed lice comb
Repeat treatment as directed, usually after 7 to 10 days
Wash bedding, hats, scarves, and recently worn clothing in hot water
Dry items on high heat
Seal non-washable items in a plastic bag for at least 2 weeks
Vacuum furniture, car seats, and floors
Check and treat all household members if needed
Avoid sharing combs, brushes, hats, and pillows
Recheck the scalp every few days for 2 to 3 weeks
