Locate the Learn button on the Chamberlain garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the Learn button
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote you want to program
Release the remote button when the opener light flashes or you hear a click
Test the remote to confirm the garage door opens and closes
Repeat the process for additional remotes if needed
If programming fails, repeat the steps and make sure you are pressing the correct Learn button
If the opener has a yellow, purple, red/orange, or green Learn button, use the same programming steps
If the remote is a newer Security+ 2.0 model, follow the same Learn button process
If the remote still does not work, replace the remote battery and try again
