Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea leaves
Add 1 crushed cardamom pod
Add 1 small piece of ginger, crushed
Add 1 clove and 1 small cinnamon piece if desired
Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes
Add 1/2 cup of milk
Add sugar to taste
Boil for 2 to 3 minutes
Strain into cups
Serve hot
