Sign in to the Zoom web portal
Go to Settings
Under In Meeting, find Breakout room
Turn on Breakout room
Start or schedule a Zoom meeting
Click Breakout Rooms in the meeting controls
Choose the number of rooms you want
Select how to assign participants
Click Create
Assign participants to rooms manually or automatically
Click Open All Rooms to start the breakout rooms
Use Breakout Rooms controls to move participants, rename rooms, or send messages
Click Close All Rooms to end the breakout rooms
