Count the number of lug holes or wheel studs
If the wheel has 4, 6, or 8 lugs, measure from the center of one lug hole to the center of the opposite lug hole
If the wheel has 5 lugs, measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the farthest opposite lug hole
Use a ruler, tape measure, or bolt pattern gauge
Record the measurement in inches or millimeters
Match the lug count and measurement to the vehicle’s bolt pattern specification
Verify the pattern before buying or installing wheels
