Open the PDF in a PDF editor that supports form fields
Select the option to add a text field or signature field
Draw the signature box in the desired location
Resize the box to fit the intended signature area
Label the field if needed
Save the PDF
Test the signature box by opening the file and clicking the field
If needed, set the field as required before saving
