Turn on the sprinkler system and locate the head you want to adjust
Check the current spray pattern and coverage area
Use a Rain Bird adjustment tool or a flathead screwdriver if needed
Rotate the nozzle clockwise to reduce spray distance
Rotate the nozzle counterclockwise to increase spray distance
Turn the adjustment screw on top of the nozzle to fine-tune the spray distance
Turn the arc adjustment screw to change the spray direction range
Move the left edge of the spray pattern to the desired starting point
Move the right edge of the spray pattern to the desired ending point
Adjust the head height if it is too high or too low in the soil
Clean debris from the nozzle if the spray is uneven or blocked
Replace the nozzle if it is damaged or worn
Test the sprinkler again and make small adjustments as needed
