Install the brake pads and rotors correctly
Make sure the brakes are clean and free of grease or contaminants
Find a safe, open road with little traffic
Accelerate to a moderate speed
Brake firmly down to a low speed without stopping completely
Repeat several times to heat the brakes evenly
Make a few harder stops from higher speed if recommended by the brake manufacturer
Avoid coming to a complete stop while the brakes are very hot
Drive at speed without braking to let the brakes cool between stops
Repeat the full bedding procedure as specified by the brake and pad manufacturer
Let the brakes cool completely before normal use
