How To Boil Eggs?

Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan

Cover eggs with cold water by at least 1 inch

Set heat to medium-high and bring water to a gentle boil

For soft-boiled eggs: reduce heat to maintain a gentle boil and cook 6–7 minutes

For medium-boiled eggs: cook 9–10 minutes

For hard-boiled eggs: cook 11–12 minutes

Remove pan from heat

Drain hot water

Immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath or run under cold water until cool

Peel under cold running water

Store peeled eggs in the refrigerator up to 1 week
