Open the Google Play Store app
Tap your profile icon
Tap Payments & subscriptions
Tap Payment methods
Tap More payment settings
Sign in to the Google Payments center
Remove the current payment method if needed
Add the new payment method
Set the new payment method as default
If changing the Google account itself, tap the profile icon and switch to the correct Google account
Reopen Google Play and confirm the new payment account is active
