Unplug the humidifier and empty the water tank
Disassemble all removable parts
Rinse the tank and base with clean water
Fill the tank with equal parts white vinegar and water
Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes
Swish the solution around the tank
Scrub stubborn buildup with a soft brush or cloth
Pour out the vinegar solution
Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water
Wipe the base with a damp cloth
Clean the mist outlet and other small areas with a cotton swab
Wash the filter if the model allows it, or replace it if needed
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Refill with fresh water before use
Clean the humidifier regularly to prevent mineral buildup and mold
