Run a hot cycle with white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner
Add baking soda to the drum if needed
Clean the door seal and rubber gasket
Remove lint, dirt, and trapped debris from the gasket
Clean the filter or drain trap
Check and clean the agitator or impeller if accessible
Wipe the exterior and control panel
Leave the door open after cleaning to let it dry
Repeat monthly or as needed
