Trim off the nails
Blanch the chicken feet in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse them in cold water
Remove any remaining outer skin if needed
Pat the chicken feet dry
Marinate with salt, garlic, soy sauce, and spices if desired
Heat oil in a pan or pot
Sauté aromatics such as garlic, onion, and ginger
Add the chicken feet and stir well
Pour in water or broth
Add seasonings such as soy sauce, pepper, and bay leaves
Simmer until tender, about 30 to 60 minutes
Add more liquid if needed while cooking
Cook until the skin is soft and the feet are fully tender
Serve hot
