Cut slowly and steadily along the marked line
Use a straightedge or clamp as a guide for straight cuts
Cut outdoors or use dust control if possible
Finish the cut with a utility knife, handsaw, or jigsaw for small sections or openings
Sand or smooth rough edges if needed
Clean off dust and debris after cutting
