Open the group text
Tap the group name or details at the top
Look for the member list
Select the person you want to remove
Tap Remove, Delete, or Remove from group
Confirm the action if prompted
If you do not see a remove option, only the group creator or admin may be able to remove them
If the group does not allow removal, create a new group without that person
