Empty the water reservoir
Fill the reservoir with white vinegar (do not use flavored or colored liquids)
Place a mug on the drip tray
Turn on the Keurig
Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup
Discard the contents from the mug
Repeat brew cycles until the reservoir is empty
Let the brewer sit for 30 minutes
Refill the reservoir with fresh water
Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty
Repeat fresh-water brew cycles as needed until there is no vinegar smell/taste
Rinse and reassemble the water reservoir and any removed parts
Wipe the exterior and the funnel area with a clean, damp cloth
Run one additional plain water brew cycle if desired
