Turn off and unplug the Keurig
Remove any K-Cup pod from the holder
Empty the water reservoir
Remove the water filter, if installed
Pour Keurig descaling solution into the reservoir
Add fresh water to the reservoir as directed on the bottle
Place a large mug on the drip tray
Plug in and turn on the Keurig
Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup
Discard the liquid from the mug
Repeat brew cycles until the reservoir is empty
Let the Keurig sit for 30 minutes
Remove and rinse the water reservoir thoroughly
Fill the reservoir with fresh water
Run multiple rinse brew cycles without a K-Cup
Discard the water after each cycle
Continue rinsing until the reservoir is empty
Reinstall the water filter, if removed
Refill the reservoir with fresh water
Brew normally once the descale light turns off
