Choose a ripe cherimoya that feels slightly soft when pressed

Wash the outside of the fruit

Cut the cherimoya in half lengthwise

Scoop out the flesh with a spoon

Remove and discard the large black seeds

Eat the flesh plain or chilled

Avoid eating the skin

Avoid chewing the seeds

Add the flesh to smoothies, yogurt, or fruit salads if desired
