Back up any important files, photos, and data
Sign out of accounts if possible
Charge the device or connect it to power
Open Settings
Go to System or General Management
Select Reset or Recovery
Choose Factory Reset or Erase All Content and Settings
Confirm the reset
Enter your passcode, PIN, or password if prompted
Wait for the device to erase and restart
Set up the device again after the reset completes
