Turn off the shower and let the water stop completely
Check whether the leak is coming from the shower head, the arm, or the valve
Unscrew the shower head from the shower arm
Inspect the rubber washer or gasket inside the shower head
Replace a worn, cracked, or missing washer or gasket
Clean mineral buildup from the shower head and threads
Wrap plumber’s tape around the shower arm threads
Reattach the shower head and tighten it by hand
Test for leaks
If it still leaks, remove and clean the flow restrictor and internal parts
Replace the shower head if it is cracked or damaged
If the leak is from the wall or valve, contact a plumber
